ABOUT
The Seward, Alaska town website, created on Figma, was designed to offer an intuitive, user-friendly experience for both residents and visitors. It includes pages on About, Attractions, Restaurants, Community, Wildlife, Government, Visitor Guide, Lodging, Culinary Guide, and Contact, each carefully curated to highlight the town’s unique features.
Extensive research into the city’s history, local businesses, and tourism helped inform the design, ensuring accuracy and relevance. The website’s UI/UX design emphasizes easy navigation, visually engaging content, and accessibility, offering a seamless experience across all pages.

The About page was constructed to provide visitors with a comprehensive overview of Seward’s history, culture, and key landmarks.
ATTRACTIONS
The Attractions page was designed to highlight the most notable sites, such as outdoor activities and scenic spots, with engaging visuals and concise descriptions to draw in tourists.
RESTAURANTS
The Restaurants page focused on creating a clear and easy-to-navigate list of local dining options, with categories for different types of cuisine and information on each establishment’s unique offerings.
COMMUNITY
The Community page was built to emphasize the town’s local initiatives, events, and businesses, fostering a sense of connection by showcasing community members’ contributions.
WILDLIFE
For the Wildlife page, I used large, captivating images and informative text to draw attention to the area’s diverse wildlife and eco-tourism opportunities, making it a go-to resource for nature lovers.
GOVERNMENT
The Government page was designed for practicality, providing clear access to important municipal services, local government news, and community resources in an organized and easy-to-read format.
VISITOR GUIDE
The Visitor Guide page compiled essential information, from safety tips to things to do, with an accessible layout that guides visitors through aspects of their stay.
LODGING
The Lodging page featured an intuitive booking interface, organized by accommodation type, making it easy for visitors to find suitable places to stay.
CULINARY GUIDE
The Culinary Guide page was designed to help visitors discover the best local dining experiences, providing detailed information on Seward’s culinary scene, including restaurants and local dishes.
